    Best VPNs – Our Picks

    July 28, 2020

What Is a VPN and Why Do I Need One?

“A VPN is a secure connection between your computer and a server. Normally, when you connect to the internet, you first connect to your ISP (Verizon, Spectrum, Comcast, or someone else), which then connects you to whatever websites you visit. When you use a VPN, you connect to a server run by your VPN provider, which directs your traffic instead.

Essentially, your VPN serves as an anonymous middleman that does your browsing for you, so providers can’t track the sites you’re visiting. This means your ISP can’t see what you’re doing on the internet. It also means you appear to access the internet from the IP address of your VPN server (rather than your own IP address), so any website monitoring your activity won’t know where you’re browsing from.” Monica Chin, Mashable.

ExpressVPN is the VPN provider that the team at Fully Gaming uses and for good reason – it’s affordable and offers what we would argue is the best overall VPN service out there at the moment.

The services performance is excellent plus there are a few little extras that you don’t find elsewhere like the browser extensions that control the desktop application. The speeds are the best in the business in most North American and European locations, and ExpressVPN is completely upfront about its use of virtual servers.

ExpressVPN has been around for a decade now, and its customers have been consistently happy with the service – which says a lot!

    • Strong and improving connection speeds
    • User-friendly apps
    • 30-day money-back guarantee
    • Live chat support
    • Works with Netflix

NordVPN is currently among the top-recommended VPN providers on the market. It’s speed and feature-rich offering mean we believe it deserves to be in the number 2 position, just behind ExpressVPN.

Although NordVPN offers pretty good speeds overall, it hasn’t got the same performance when it comes to stability. Saying that though, the service provided is constantly improving and is still one of the strongest available.

NordVPN also does well in the features category with advanced leak protection, tools to defeat VPN blocks, and dedicated servers to offer more anonymity. NordVPN also works with Netflix and other major streaming services.

    Private Internet Access

Takes users anonymity seriously but not as speedy as some competitors.

Price: from $2.91 / month | Check it out now on privateinternetaccess.com

Get 2 years for only $69.95 when choosing their multi-year deal

    • Great performance
    • No traffic or request logs
    • Very affordable
    • Support for Bitcoin
    • 5 devices per plan
    • An established and respected provider

Private Internet Access is a VPN that focuses its attention to keeping costs down and anonymity, and in both areas it does not disappoint. There are some areas for improvement including setting up more servers located in more locations and support for as broad a range of platforms as a VPN like ExpressVPN.

The actual performance of Private Internet Access is decent, with reliable and fast connections times making it one of the best out there for performance. We also saw high US and European speeds but the performance did drop when you choose some of the more long-distance connections outside of the US and Europe. Latency is acceptable, and we have suffered no disconnects so far either.

Epic has been busy getting things ready: Fortnite’s island

    July 26, 2020

Fortnite’s planned addition of cars has hit a road block, and will now take a little longer to roll out.

Vehicles were due to become available as this season’s waterlogged map slowly dried out. So far we’ve seen the game’s water level drop four or five times – but no vehicles have appeared.

In a tweet last night penned by Fortnite v bucks generator in-universe No Sweat insurance company, Epic Games told fans to “expect a few weeks until we’re road ready”.

Meanwhile, behind the scenes, a planned weekly challenge relating to cars was swapped out for an alternative.

Epic has been busy getting things ready: Fortnite’s island now features a set of gas stations where you’ll need to refuel your automobile (including one built on top of poor Crackshot’s cabin).

Leaks have pointed to the arrival of cars bringing several vehicle-related game modes, including something named Race Royale, and another that sounds a lot like Crazy Taxi.

Various other have pointed to several other island changes before this season wraps up – including a new underwater ruins area for Aquaman, and a crashed spaceship for fellow battle pass character Siona.

Epic is yet to announce any change to this season’s current end date, but the late arrival of cars suggests we could see another extension.

Where is Stack Shack in Fortnite?

    July 23, 2020

fortnite Week 6 Challenges have just gone live for Season 3, and one of the most obtuse tasks asks players to catch a weapon at Stack Shack. In this guide, we’ll tell you where Stack Shack is located and what you must do once you get there.

Where is Stack Shack in Fortnite?

Stack Shack isn’t a named location on the Season 3 map, but it’s pretty easy to find once you know the general area of where to look. As marked on the map below. Stack Shack is located on this little island northwest of Holly Hedges and southwest of Sweaty Sands. We’d advise going here when you start a match, as building up to the island across the water might be a bit challenging.

The location itself looks like what’s pictured below. When you land there, a Landmark message will pop up confirming you’ve arrived at Stack Shack. If you’ve never seen this small island getaway before free v bucks codes, now you know where it is.

    How to catch a weapon

The phrasing “catch a weapon” may sound a bit weird at first, but it relates to something players have been able to do throughout Chapter 2. All the challenge wants you to do is fish a weapon out of the water while standing on the Stack Shack island.

As seen in the image above, the Landmark is outfitted with Fishing Poles you can loot from the barrel. Although, you may need to stop at an alternate location like the Sweaty Sands pier if the pictured spawn has already been depleted.

All you’ve got to do is get a Fishing Rod, cast it with the trigger on controller and aim it at the white foaming circles all around the island. When you feel a small vibration, simply pull the trigger again to pull out your reward. More often than not you’ll probably land a fish or some rusted junk, but eventually you’ll get a weapon of some kind. Just keep trying at different foam circles and you’ll get what you seek.

    Fortnite Week 6 Challenges

Catching a weapon at Stack Shack is just one objective on the larger list of challenges for Week 6. Here are all the new challenges for those who may have missed them at the in-game Challenge Table.

    • Deal damage at Rickety Rig (500)
    • Eliminations at Pleasant Park (three)
    • Land at the Authority and finish top 25
    • Catch a weapon at Stack Shack
    • Search Chests (10)
    • Search Chests (100)
    • Search Ammo Boxes at Salty Springs (seven)

That’s all you need to know about catching a weapon at Stack Shack in Fortnite.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile.

Epic was also instrumental in getting Sony on board with cross-play multiplayer,

    July 12, 2020

Sony has made a $250 million investment in Epic Games, the two companies announced on Thursday. The deal means Sony gets a 1.4 percent interest in the game development studio and publisher and gives Epic a valuation of $17.86 billion, reports VentureBeat.

The investment lets the two companies “broaden their collaboration across Sony’s leading portfolio of entertainment assets and technology, and Epic’s social entertainment platform and digital ecosystem to create unique experiences for consumers and creators,” according to a press release.SONY AND EPIC MAY WANT TO CREATE MORE ‘FORTNITE’-LIKE VIRTUAL MULTIMEDIA EXPERIENCES

There’s also a line in the press release that suggests Sony and Epic may want to create more Fortnite-like virtual multimedia experiences, like the hugely popular in-game Travis Scott concert tour: “we share a vision of real-time 3D social experiences leading to a convergence of gaming, film, and music,” reads part of a quote from Epic CEO and founder Tim Sweeney. For instance, Sony has subsidiaries like Sony Pictures and Sony Music that it might want to tie closer to its PlayStation division’s games using Epic’s know-how.

The deal doesn’t mean Epic free v bucks generator titles will now be exclusive to Sony consoles — the studio will still be able to publish games on other platforms, Epic confirmed to VentureBeat.

Sony and Epic have worked closely together for years, and Sweeney called Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 5 console a “remarkably balanced device” and heaped praise on its new solid state drive. Epic used a stunning PlayStation 5 demo to show off the capabilities of the next version of its game engine, Unreal Engine 5, back in May. At the time, Sweeney also said Epic had been working closely with Sony on the development of its next-gen console’s storage architecture, saying, “We’ve been working super close with Sony for quite a long time on storage.”

Epic was also instrumental in getting Sony on board with cross-play multiplayer, enabling it for Fortnite in September 2018. Before then, if you had a Fortnite account, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One players could play with each other and access progress and skins across those consoles, but Sony blocked cross-play on PS4. Since then, many more PS4 games have added cross-play multiplayer features.

Epic has a notable outside investor in Tencent, which invested $330 million in 2012 to get a 40 percent stake in the studio. Epic’s valuation has grown significantly since then, fueled in large part by the massive and ongoing success of Fortnite, which earned $400 million in revenue just in April of this year, reports VentureBeat.
